Lunar Lightings carries four decades — over 40 years — of shade-making heritage in Delhi. Today it is led by Kartik Thakur, an engineering graduate from NSUT, one of India's top institutes. He brings a problem-solving mindset honed in engineering to a craft refined across generations: measuring, prototyping, refining, and finishing each shade with the discipline of a designer and the patience of an artisan.

From the first sketch on paper to the final stitch in linen, every order is an end-to-end conversation. You speak to the maker. Nothing is outsourced, nothing is guessed.
